About Resourcive

Built by operators who've run technology under real pressure.

Founded in 2001, Resourcive helps mid-market and enterprise companies, and the PE firms that own them, buy and deploy technology with clarity, speed, and confidence. The firm was built by people who ran technology and operations under pressure long before they ever sourced a contract.

Since 2001

Two decades of sourcing, one discipline.

Resourcive started as a telecom and IT sourcing practice and has grown alongside the categories it serves: infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecom, contact center, software licensing, and executive advisory. The discipline hasn't changed. Baseline what's there, source against the live market, negotiate from evidence, and stay through implementation.

That discipline is why relationships tend to start with one workstream and grow into a multi-year partnership. It's also why private equity operating partners bring us in early, post-close, when a portfolio company's technology spend still has the most leverage left in it.

How we're built

Led by operators, including Special Operations veterans and IT leaders.

A meaningful share of the Resourcive leadership team spent years operating in high-stakes, high-ambiguity environments before they ever worked in technology sourcing, several in U.S. Special Operations. That background shows up in how engagements actually run: calm under pressure, clear about the objective, and accountable for the outcome rather than just the recommendation.

The rest of the team brings deep operating experience from the categories we source: telecom, cybersecurity, contact center, and IT leadership roles at companies of the same scale as the clients we serve.

What that means in practice
  • Engagements are run with a clear objective and a plan, not an open-ended exploration.
  • We stay accountable through implementation, not just to the point of a signed contract.
  • Ambiguity gets resolved with a decision, not another meeting.
  • The team that scopes the engagement is the team that runs it.
How we work

Five things that show up in every engagement.

Not a poster in a break room. These are the standards our team is actually measured against, in how we run engagements and write for clients.

Outcome-Oriented

We have a process and we drive it, but the North Star is always the client outcome. Understand it, reflect it, work toward it expeditiously.

Own the Results

High accountability. We own what happens or fails to happen, even when vendors or clients are involved. Exert influence where possible; own the result regardless.

Professional and Committed

Show up prepared, on time, and ready to work hard on the client's behalf. Reliability is non-negotiable.

Forward-Leaning Learner

Always learning, about our industry, the technology we advise on, and our clients' business. Open to feedback. Intellectually curious.

Win Together

We look for wins across client, supplier, and Resourcive, not just for ourselves. This shapes how we structure engagements and relationships.

Ownership

Independent in how we work. Backed by a public company for the long haul.

Resourcive is a ScanSource company. Much of the technology advisory and sourcing category is getting rolled up, sold, and re-sold. Resourcive is built for continuity instead, backed by a publicly traded technology distributor with decades of history and reach across the supplier ecosystem.
